Infrared photography

This holiday I have finally time to test an infrared filter. I made just a few clicks with it, without checking any tutorials and othe people's experiences. Checking some infos later, I realized I didn't white balanced "correclty", and so other few adjustments. The filter is so dark we have to use it with long time exposures and apertures and high ISO. But the results were very fun. Here is one example of what I did.

The filter I used was a 950nm IR on a 18-55mm Nikon D60 standard lens.

Here is the photo without the IR filter.

ISO 200 • 1/400s • F/5.6 • 55mm

This image was made with the filter on and no adjustments.

ISO 400 • 146s • F/5.6 • 55mm

After a few adjustments and turning it into black & white.

Yes, I have a lot to learn... :D

Rotation in flash

Flash made with a sequence of photographies of a cream cheese cup. It's not 100% smooth yet, but I hope it'll be soon... :)
